Beautiful location, bad communication Positive: The property is beautiful and its greatest strength is undoubtedly the location. It overlooks the ocean, offering stunning views, with a large lawn that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The amenities are also excellent, including a swimming pool, barbecue area, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Negative: Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by Bob's poor communication. I first contacted him in April to ask about the possibility of an early check-in, but I never received a reply. I tried again the day before our arrival through Booking and even sent him a text message, but once again there was no response. Only after we arrived did I mention the issue, and although he apologized, that did little to make up for having ignored my messages for months. The same lack of flexibility was evident when I asked if we could extend our check-out by just one hour, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bob declined, explaining that he needed a 2–3 hour cleaning window before the next guests, who were due to check in at 4:00 PM. However, even with a 12:00 PM check-out, there would still have been a full 4-hour window before the next check-in, which is more than the time he himself said was required for cleaning. Granting an extra hour would have been a simple courtesy and would not have affected the preparation of the property. Finally, the house is extremely cluttered with all kinds of items. While some guests may see this as a benefit because there are plenty of things available to use, it also makes the property feel more like someone's personal home than a vacation rental.

Fantastic. After staying here I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Positive: Location and view. The room was awesome and had all the comforts of home. When you stay here all you need to do is show up with your clothes. Every room has breathtaking views. Negative: Nothing

This is my second time staying at Bob and Sarah’s place. I truly love the location. It is very peaceful and beautiful. The accommodations are perfect for 2 people, although this time I was by myself. I met some great people on the property. Everyone is so friendly there. Sure you can stay in a 5 star hotel but you won’t get the peace of the water crashing on the lava rock, watching the dogs run off leash in the green park surrounding the property, the chirping of birds early in the morning in the sanctuary, and you might not see the sea turtles passing by. This place is truly special! They are fabulous hosts and very responsive. You will leave feeling better than when you arrived!

Fabulous view and property Positive: Amazing location with incredible views and beach access. Negative: I thought the bedding, especially sheets and comforter could have been much better. Sheets were scratchy and not soft at all, the plastic bed envelope could be felt through the thin sheets and a bit heavier duvet would have been nice.
